As I mentioned in an earlier post, I really like the concave shoulder style. I consider jackets with any type of sloping as looking sloppy, and although I do like a nice perfectly straight shoulder I consider this style to look a bit too boxy.
To me, I consider the concave shoulder to look both natural as well as sharp without adding unnecessary bulk.
Some consider the concave shoulder style to be very informal, and certainly not fit for world leaders. Russia's current President, Dmitri Medvedev does not agree: He can be seen wearing well tailored close-fitting suits with concave shoulders all of the time, when addressing the nation or participating at G8. Events that are certainly far from informal.
Let's take a quick look at his suits:

As you can notice Medvedev's shoulders have a nice concave curve, especially compared to those of Bush. George Bush is known to wear very well but conservative tailored suits by Oxxford, in most pictures you can see his shoulders tailored quite straight, but like most suits will show some sloping.
Also notice how Medvedev's suit is tailored quite close to the body. A snappy look, but one which some consider to showy for the political arena. Politicians from FSU states are known to prefer a closer fit compared to most of their Western counterparts.
As can be seen in the photo above Medvedev's shoulders have some extension and surely not a lot of padding. While standing and sitting up straight his shoulders will rest perfectly on his shoulders, but there are many photos where he is sitting and leaning forward creating the wrinkles as shown above.
As can be seen above, like a lot of world leaders Medvedev's sleeves are cut way too long: the shirt is not showing at all and the place as which the sleeve hits his hand is very traditional. Personally I would prefer to have sleeves cut a little shorter and show a little bit of shirt.
